Our first day at Child Hope and we visited a local community living in a ravine. The ravine has a church. We met the pastor and spent time in worship with the church in a large tent amidst the rubble and tents. Matt spoke on behalf of the team and Lazo then shared a word of encouragement from Philippians about counting all things lost and the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ. Then we worshipped. We were invited back on Thursday to join them for a time of prayer and fasting for the nations of Haiti.
